when a seed is small where does it get it food
ReplyDeleteSeeds contain everything they need, except water, to sprout and grow, at least enough to get roots into the soil and green into the sunlight. An easy way to prove this is to just take beans, but them in damp paper towels (keep the towels damp) in a fairly warm place. In a few days, you will see they have tiny little roots and leaves growing out of them-with nothing added more than water.
