For Parents: Next Thursday...

Please be informed that next Thursday, 8 Nov 2012, will be the Meet the Parents Session for Primary 4, between 7.45 am to 1.45 pm. It will also be the day that the Option Form for your child's  Primary 5 subject combinations are given. This form MUST be signed by you on that day so that the necessary arrangements can be made to place your child in the appropriate classes. As such, it is strongly recommended that you apply for leave (half-day, morning) for the session. I am looking forward to seeing you. A letter will be given to you by this week regarding this session.

Reminders:

• SA2 Examination starts next week. Please check your SA2 Schedule and Scope given out to you earlier. In case you have forgotten, the examination will be in this order: English, Math, Mother Tongue and Science from Monday t o Thursday.
• Revise, revise and revise.
• Keep yourself fit and healthy during the examinations. Get plenty of rest and exercise whenever possible. If you are not feeling well, please get a medical certificate (MC) from your doctor.
• If you have any queries or questions about your topics, please ask me anythime next week in class so that we can share the questions with everyone.

• There will be English Dictation on Monday. Please revise the passage that we had chosen in class today. Complete all your Spelling corrections and let your parents sign for your work.
• There will also be our last Supplementary Lesson on Monday. Make sure you have made the necessary arrangements with your parents regarding it.
• Please start revising for your SA2 Examinations if you have not done so already because there will be mock exams for English, Math and Science next week: English (Monday), Math (Tuesday), English Topical Test 12 (Wednesday) and Science (Thursday).

• From Monday to Thursday next week, you are not required to be in school as it is the PSLE Marking exercise for all teachers. Please take this time to revise all your work.
• There will be English spelling on Friday, 19 October. Please revise the Spelling list for Term 4 Week 5.
• Topical Test 11 will also be held on Friday, 19 October. Please revise the Learning Sheets (LS) for Unit 11.
